How to add Zozaa to Claude

Zozaa compares grocery prices across South African stores. Add Zozaa to Claude as a custom connector and you can ask Claude to find and compare prices, build a basket and check your price alerts without leaving the chat.

You need a Claude account that can add custom connectors, and a free Zozaa account. You can sign in to Zozaa when Claude asks you to approve the connection.

  1. Step 1: Open Connectors in Claude

    In a Claude chat, select the + button in the message box and choose Connectors, then choose to add a custom connector.

  2. Step 2: Name the connector and add the address

    In the Add custom connector window, type Zozaa as the Name. Paste the Zozaa address into MCP server URL:

    https://zozaa.co.za/mcp

    Select Continue.

  3. Step 3: Keep the sign-in settings

    Claude detects how Zozaa signs you in and picks Register automatically. Leave it as it is, then select Add.

  4. Step 4: Approve access on Zozaa

    You are sent to a Zozaa page asking what Claude can do:

    • Read and write lets Claude read your profile and change your display name, and manage your basket, favourites and price alerts.
    • Read only lets Claude see your profile and basket but change nothing.

    Choose one and select Approve. You can disconnect at any time from the Connected assistants section of your Zozaa profile.

  5. Step 5: Ask Zozaa a question

    Back in Claude you will see Connected to Zozaa. Ask for what you want, for example:

    Find me the cheapest 2 litre full cream milk

    Claude asks Zozaa for live prices and shows you how the stores compare.
